A Ride In The Snow!

Here's Grampa living it up with his grand daughter in the winter snow. And of course Lydia loves getting pulled around! And I quote, "She loves it. Its fun if you don't have a heart attack after the first hour or so." Grampa will go to any extent to play with his little grand daughter. I am sure he tried to get her to bake him some cookies in payment for the ride, but we all know Lydia is too smart for that trick!

Lydia's First Snowy Man!!!

Look at what Lydia made...her first snowman. His name is "Coolage," and he was born at 5:50 PM on 2/26/2008. Coolage is approximately 5 feet tall, and weighs about 200 lbs. Lydia was truly amazed by this whole process, and loves her snowman. This was about a year late in coming to fruition, but none-the-less, here he is welcome him to his 1 month stay at our house.

And yes for those who are wondering, Lydia will be spraying him down with water tonight to ensure he hangs around for as long as possible.

Lydia's Learning Center

Here's little Lydia on her learning center. So what is a learning center? It is basically a platform she can stand on to help Momma do things like peel potatoes. Lydia loves her learning center, and loves to help momma out making dinner and playing kitchen.

Grampa Bill made her this wonderful thing. Thank you Grampa!!!! Lydia loves it!

Who's In Charge Here Anyway?

Not only am I not sure who is in charge here...I don't even know which one is the adult and which one is the child. I guess it could be that there are two children here. I know which on is having a better time....that is right....GRAMMA is! In case you are wondering (as it is not obvious), but Gramma is pushing Lydia around in the toy shopping cart. And we wonder why Gamma is her favorite person on the planet!

Lydia's First Chocolate!!

That is right! Lydia eats chocolate for the first time, and she found it absolutely
Wonderful! Now this wasn't the kind of wonder that was filled with giggles and smiles.
This was business. No Mom or Dad, not Grammy Sue, nor Pam and Jack could
distract the little bug from her task at hand. And oh yeah, she didn't sleep
that night. Grammy Sue put the right amount of sugar in the pudding for
this sweetie!
